Position Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an understanding of business partner needs and manage business partner satisfaction relative to deliverables.
- Provide coaching and guidance to peers, junior team members, co-ops and/or external consultants.
- Provide input to performance evaluation and development planning for junior team members.
- Provide written and verbal communication such as status reports, progress reports and documentation to Information Management and business partners.
- Actively participate on committees representing inter/intra IM organizations.
- Educate, influence and negotiate to achieve business strategy and deliver results.
- Design, develop and deliver project solutions to specified requirements on schedule and within budget following appropriate IT methodologies.
- Lead assignments to build/maintain systems of medium to high complexity following company development methodology.
- Interface with suppliers and vendors to evaluate software, hardware, or services and make recommendations.
- Interview, hire and manage outside contractors as needed.
- Participate in the interviewing process for new hire candidates as needed (External/Consultant).
- Participate in the business planning activities (budgets, project and resource planning) as needed.
- Apply knowledge of industry and competitive environment in all facets of daily job functions.
- Consistently demonstrate knowledge seeking and sharing behaviors across IT organizational boundaries in the performance of daily work and encourage junior associates to do the same.
- Apply principles, concepts and practices of the GLP Competency Model for the Lead Level.
- Ensure that J&J information assets are appropriately identified and valued, and are protected by complying with and enforcing all local and worldwide security policies.
- Ensure that security is considered and emphasized in all IT plans and actions.
Experience:
- Approximate experience or equivalent knowledge and skills necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities
- 6+ years with four-year degree or equivalent preferred
- 4+ years with advanced degree or equivalent preferred
Tools:
HTLM 5, Safari, iOS and iOS SDK 4 or Later, Windows Vista or Later
English 85% or so
