Responsibilities:

Receive all hospital/IDN/regional GPO contract requests from field sales and Corporate Account Directors, and prepare analyses for contracting options. Collaborate with Mentor Corporate Accounts Directors, Legal, and JJHCS Contract Administration to assist with contract development and execution issues, and ensure proposed contracts are within hospital pricing matrix guidelines. Efficiently move all contracts through the process until final signatures are obtained and the contracts are executed; enter contract information into database repository for tracking and analysis purposes. Serve as the lead for all compliance reviews and audits for hospital and GPO contracts. Create contract expiration tracking methodology and partner with IT to automate the process in JDE or Cognos. Know, understand and follow Mentor and J&J policies and procedures related to work activities performed in the area of responsibility. Review contract terms and conditions to ensure customer, Mentor, and J&J legal requirements are incorporated. Work closely with the Group Director, Pricing and Contracting, to assist with building and maintaining contracting processes, and monitoring and compliance measurements. Also collaborate with Customer Service and IT departments to streamline customer roster development processes and database management.

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree required. A minimum of 3 years of sales, finance, or general management experience required. Contract administration experience is strongly preferred. Experience collaborating and partnering with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders required. Demonstrated business acumen required. Demonstrated strong analytical skills to implement contract strategy terms and conditions, and performance metrics required. Must have the ability to meet strict deadlines and to work in an environment with a high sense of urgency. Demonstrated communication skills required, both verbal and written. Business planning experience and the ability to work with financial models required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills, which includes experience with Pivot Tables, Formulas and VLOOKUP functions.
