Position Description: As part of the Ryder team the Specialist will handle a variety of tasks.


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 4 (four) years related business experience (accounting/financial)
    or AA and 3 (three) years work experience; or a Bachelor’s degree and 2 (two) years related experience.

Additional Requirements: Thorough knowledge of tasks and responsibilities related to evaluating credit requests including Equifax reports, financial statements, bank references and personal financial information. Effectively applies skills in accomplishing tasks.
- Financial analysis experience including trends, balance & income statement ratios, cash flow assessment, and understanding different bank debt structuring.
- Has recommended or underwritten credit lines up to $200K
- Requires full use and application of relevant principles, theories, concepts and techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and uses analytical techniques to gather, assess and evaluate data
  • Performs complex level analysis and problem solving to assist in the development of business processes, products and services Analysis includes quantifiable and qualitative results
  • Typically operates as part of a team
  • May lend support to lower level analysts
  • Prepares status updates and reports for management
  • Review and interpretation of business functions
  • Conducts audits and quality control/assurance practices
  • Performs needs assessments
  • Identifies best practices
  • Works with constituents to develop concepts
  • May develop documentation and user manuals as directed
  • May functions as a Team Lead, providing guidance and support to lower level employees
