The Energy Business, a part of the Global Surgery Group within the Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an Energy Sales Representative, located in Boston MA.

In this role, the Energy Sales Representative will drive the expansion of HARMONIC® ultrasonic and ENSEAL® advanced bipolar technologies into peripheral and other focused markets. The Energy Sales Representative will be trained to understand and demonstrate proper surgical use of our products to physicians. They will also need to demonstrate the ability to handle customer product questions and objections in a way that is consistent with sales training methodology. Additionally, they will be expected to execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical and persuasive and which leads the customer to action.
The Energy Sales Representative will drive growth in open and endoscopic procedures (Colorectal, GYN, etc.) and develop market understanding for orthopedic/plastic surgery procedures needed to establish a presence. They will support new indication and product launches and market development with new call points.
While in the field, the Sales Representative will expertly represent Global Surgery by exhibiting proficiency in knowledge of Energy products & procedures to make effective presentations at multiple management levels within a healthcare facility. This includes providing customer education, in-service accounts and demonstrate proper use of all products/devices to surgeons, nurses, scrub tech and other hospital staff.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, A minimum of a Bachelors Degree paired is required. Three years of sales experience selling to a highly educated/high profile customer base, or experience within the MD&D companies under the Global Surgery Group experience with a proven track record of achieving sales & competency objectives as an Associate Sales Representative is required. The ability to sell in an operating room, lab & hospital environment is required. A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States with a clean driving record is required. The ability to travel as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekends, is required. Medical device sales experience is preferred paired with documented sales results. Individuals must live within the current geography be willing to relocate to it.
