The Information Technology Lead will be responsible for executing Information Technology (IT) activities for Local business unit in conjunction with Commercial COE. The responsibilities include system and application design, business analysis and project management. The position will perform analysis, design, implementation and maintenance activities under minimal direction for local applications, execution of IT Portfolio and business continuity areas and works independently and lead assignments/projects of moderate to high complexity in the IT portfolio. Responsibilities include providing directions to peers, junior team members, co-ops and/or external consultants, indentifying research and validate innovative solutions applying the concepts of appropriate methodologies and partnering with business partner community to devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems or improve existing processes. The position will provide written and verbal communication such as status reports, progress reports and documentation to Information Technology and Business Partners, interface with suppliers and vendors to evaluate software, hardware, or services and make recommendations and actively participates on committees representing Intra IT organizations.

The Information Technology Lead demonstrates an understanding of business partner needs and manages business partner's satisfaction relative to deliverables, applies principles, concepts and practices of the A21 Competency Model and ensures that J&J information assets are appropriately identified and valued, and are protected by complying with and enforcing all local and worldwide security policies. The position ensures that security, records retention and applicable statutory/regulatory compliance are considered and emphasized in all IT plans and actions, serves as project team leader, accountable for defined projects, coordinates project activities and builds and maintains the project plan. The Information Technology Lead is responsible for the management and deployment of resources on the project team against defined deliverables, for deliverables on time, within budget to specification and clarifies business needs and turns them into solution designs. Determine business rules to meet business objectives. The position is accountable for delivering solution components to an agreed functional specification including required testing and documentation, accountable to ensure / validate that solutions meet specifications and the established standards and processes are followed. Identify, mitigate & manage risk and located in Diamond Bar, CA with up to 15% Domestic and International travel.

Qualifications


It is required of the Information Technology Lead to possess a minimum of 8 years experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent or a minimum of 2 years experience with an Advanced degree or equivalent. It is preferred the degrees are either in the Information Technology / Management or Computer Science disciplines. It is required the successful candidate have CRM system experience and it is preferred for them to have Cognos, Siebel and SQL experience. It is preferred the successful candidate have healthcare or medical device industry experience.

It is required the information Technology Lead possess strong written and verbal skills, strong project management and problem solving skills, a business and financial acumen and presentation skills. It is preferred the successful candidate have Six Sigma and process excellence tools / methodologies experience, training / education experience, people leadership / talent development experience and a PMP or Six Sigma Green / Black belt certification. The position is located in Diamond Bar, CA and requires up to 15% Domestic and International travel.
