Qualifications
Required skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience leading end-to-end data architecture design on IT projects
- 8+ years of experience working with a data warehouse, data marts, ETL, reporting & analytics tools, master data management, data testing, data modeling concepts, and data structures
- 5+ years' experience architecting data warehouse solutions, integrating source system information, and reporting and analytics
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations, strong critical thinking skills and the ability to be decisive while working cooperatively with others
- Able to communicate, influence, and reason effectively with business and technical partners to deliver quality solutions to meet business objectives
- Experience in working with consulting partners and/or working in an outsourced IT environment
- Ability to travel as needed (minimal)
Desired Skills
- MS in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS
- Design experience with Oracle and Informatica, Neteeza, or Teradata
- Experience with geospacial and agricultural ecosystems
- Experience developing software in accordance with government regulations such as those created by the EPA and FDA
