Required Skills/Experience:

BS in Biology, Agronomy, Plant Science or related fields

Ability to work extended hours during the peak planting, pollinating and harvest seasons

Experience utilizing MS Word and MS Excel

Ability to work effectively with interdisiplinary teams

Demonstrated ability to balance and prioritize tasks

Demonstrated abilility to communicate effectively, both written and oral
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
Desired Skills/Experience:

Familiarity with basic plant breeding methodologies

Broad knowledge of crop production and farming practices
- Pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain a license
