Job description
The PeopleSoft Technical Lead/Consultant needs to possess the following preferred/required skill sets:
-HRMS/HCM experience (Payroll, ESS, MSS, Benefits, and
recruitment modules)
-Strong knowledge of North America payroll (Mainframes), Time &
Labor, self-service, and Core HR
-Strong experience in Production support.
-Basic knowledge on administration, diverse environments,
migrations, disaster recovery, and maintenance process.
-Mainframe knowledge required
-Strong technical skills on PeopleTools
-Strong knowledge of SQR with exposure to upgrades and applying
bundles.
-PSoft admin and MF skills preferred.
-Software engineering and implementing packaged applications
preferred
- Medium-sized project management and technical leadership
experience preferred.
- Familiarity in working within, and defining, a structured project delivery
methodology.
- Ability to facilitate and perform business and application requirement
gathering sessions.
- Ability to work with infrastructure personnel on platform requirements
and installation procedures
- Experience with virtual environments
- Experience with Database support experience (SQL, Oracle, etc.)
-Ability to follow vendor provided instructions, scripts, directions (i.e.
installation, configuration, hotfix, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues involving networking,
database, and windows servers
-Ability to work with vendor support, providing them issue background
and remote access support as needed
- Data migration approach review and assist with data migration
mapping
-Excellent interpersonal communications and technical writing skills.
-Strong troubleshooting skills.
-Familiarity in working within a structured support environment
including completion of the following types of deliverables:
o Application Support Playbook
o Operational Health Assessmentâ??s
-Ability to successfully support multiple priorities
Preferred requirements:
- Familiarity/Experience in the Financial Services Industry.
- Any Ticketing system for tracking like Tivoli, HP asset center etc.
