Job description
Project managers at IBM will be responsible for projects/programs that are spread across geographies. Primary responsibility will be to ensure success of client. Candidates must have strong Project Management experience and consultative solution experience. Candidates will partner with various levels of management and will be the single point of contact for execs as it relates to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage delivery of projects across geographies
2. Client relationship management: : Manage Client Relationships effectively.
3. Manage Statement of Work and provide status updates to clients.
4. Manage project financials
5. Forecast and manage resource requirements
6. Manages the team effectively
7. Plan and prioritize activities for the team / Meets deadlines consistently.
8. Thought leadership in IT/Off-shoring
9. Strong business development experience
10. Manage customers remotely, build strong relationships
(Must have):
1. Ability to manage customers and build strong relationships.
2. Project Management in IT/Off-shoring environment.
3. P&L management experience.
This position requires minimal (10%) travel.
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in Must possess experience in the overall responsibility for structuring a project, performing the detailed planning, and managing project execution and completion of moderate or large projects.
- At least 3 years experience in Project management experience in all phases of systems development from concept through installation and maintenance
- At least 3 years experience in Assigns resources and tasks, and manages quality assurance, resolution of issues, status reviews and reporting, development of standards, change control, customer support, and compliance with all poli
- Basic knowledge in Financial Services Industry knowledge
- At least 3 years experience in Manages the development of the technical strategy
- Readiness to travel Up to 1 day a week
- English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
- At least 5 years experience in Must possess experience in the overall responsibility for structuring a project, performing the detailed planning, and managing project execution and completion of moderate or large projects.
