IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is expanding its Center of Competency in its Consumer Products (CP) Industry Practice. The primary objective of this group is to drive sales and create solutions for CP consulting engagements in markets around the world. The focus will be on our selling engagements based on our Industry Solutions portfolio and SWG Framework (Smarter Consumer, Smarter Customer Collaboration, Smarter Supply Networks and Manufacturing and Enterprise Information Management). These solutions have direct linkages to IBMâ??s Business Analytics (BAO), Smarter Commerce and SAP consulting services areas. It is critical that all CoC members have a strong understanding of these areas and the business process domains they impact.
In this CoC role, you'll use your knowledge related to business challenges, industry trends, the competition, business models, industry value chain/business processes, industry segments, solutions, the regulatory environment, benchmarks, and standards bodies, to create value and enable successful business outcomes for IBM clients - enabling them to transform themselves and their industries.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate successful sales and implementation of advanced SAP solutions in the CP industry, especially in the areas of CRM, Business Analytics and APO. The candidate should be very familiar with consumer products industry management practices and be able to advise our solutions teams on how to derive value from SAPâ??s advanced offerings. Multiple sales and implementation management cycles should be demonstrated.
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 10 years experience in experience in SAP Implementation
- At least 5 years experience in experience in Functional Process User
- At least 10 years experience in experience in Industry Consulting
- Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Fluent
