The Finance Manageris a rolethat will provide bothfinancial management and operational leadership.Will be responsible for managing a unitthat provides key business processes, data and/or servicesthat support the attainment of financial goals. Ensures high customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:
- Provides leadershipand direction for the unit in accordance with the overall strategic direction of the department.
- Serves as the content expert of the responsible area, providing assistanceand advice.
- Communicates information effectively, translating financial data into meaningful information that support business decision-making.
- Applies understanding of operationaland financial performance to anticipateand meet the needs of clients.
- Holds unit to high standards of performance.
- Assures integrity of dataand analysis.
- Definesand frames complex issuesand develops time tables/processes for decision making.
- Facilitates the ongoing learning, well-being, professional satisfactionand development of staff through training, work assignments, increased responsibility/autonomyand mentoring.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Requires seven (7) or moreyears directly related financial experience with a variety of projects.
- Prior experience managing staff.
- Knowledge inone of the following areas: Quantitative Analysis, Financial Analysis, Health Care Economics, Information Systems, Organizational Development, Health Care delivery systems, Project Management or new Business Development.
- Knowledge of applicable federaland state lawsand regulations related to the health care industry.
- Strong communications, presentationand interpersonal skills.
- Excellent skills in complex analytic problem solving, project managementand group processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with KP data sources.
- Experience with SASand Microsoft Access helpful.
- Consistently demonstrating the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to purchasers, contracted providers and vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field or extensive health care industry experience preferred.
- Ability to liaison and translate financialsbetween finance and operations staff.
- Advanced Excel skills
- FunctionalAccess skills
