To assure continued ability to operate facilities, identify and manage organizational EHS risk, avoid cost of fines and penalties by complying with environmental, health & safety regulatory requirements, improve sustainability, maintain positive corporate image, reduce incidence of work related injuries, reduce workers compensation costs, and improve employee engagement.

Note:  The incumbent can be based in either Golden, CO or Milwaukee, WI.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Safety disciplines, MS in Environmental or Safety discipline or MBA preferred.
 
EHS experience in the food/beverage or consumer products industry is preferred. 
 
10 to 15 years of highly advanced practical experience in leading the development, design and implementation of environmental, health and safety systems and projects, of which 4 to 5 years of facility experience is preferred.  

Demonstrates advanced leadership skills to manage change, programs, establish strategy, and manage projects from conception through implementation.   Large scale, complex and mulit-facility EHS programs and projects, company-wide.
 
Demonstrates independence when actively coordinating and participating, with little oversight, in environmental, health and safety management.  
 
Must possess advanced knowledge in all the areas of responsibility and the ability to develop concepts for EHS systems, standards, and projects.  
 
Demonstrates and advanced ability to influence, teach and mentor others.
