Job description
The Business Analyst will work with IBM's Application Innovation Services clients to develop innovative solutions to address core business issues in complex and integrated business environments. Have the ability to interface and interact with multiple team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and document the requirements and obtaining stakeholder approvals. Interface and collaborate with team members in different geographies and various time zones. Needs to work under tight time lines and have the ability to manage challenging situations.
The Senior Business Analyst role requires the candidate to perform the following specific tasks:
· Assembles, analyzes and represents customer business requirements
· Performs feasibility analysis, project scope and recommends alternative solutions (such as to develop or buy software/ hardware) and project strategy and deliverable prioritization
· Performs all functions of an analyst
· Performs cost estimating, cost benefit analysis and ROI (return on investments)
· Develops high level implementation plans
· Able to perform as a Team Leader when necessary
· Facilitates workshops, i.e. JAD, RAD and DRP sessions
· Produces data and process models
· Working knowledge of System Development Life Cycle
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4 years experience in Requires experience in analysis and expertise in different business areas application wide analysis and proposal of solutions.
- At least 4 years experience in System Analysis and Design
- Readiness to travel Up to 1 day a week
- English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
- At least 7 years experience in Requires experience in analysis and expertise in different business areas application wide analysis and proposal of solutions.
- At least 2 years experience in Ability to communicate clearly in team environment and multiple levels of management
- At least 7 years experience in System Analysis and Design
- English : Intermediate
