This position will be responsible for ensuring the day to day quality and continuous improvement of the Support Services for JDE, DSI and related "bolt-on" applications. The primary responsibilities will include monitoring execution and driving improvements of support services for JDE, DSI and related bolt-on applications to ensure support services are meeting required quality and SLAs. The individual will manage third-party offshore support team - Primary point of contact for day-to-day management of the offshore support team, work closely with support team service lead and coordinators to drive flawless execution of services and continuous improvement, facilitate communication and coordination efforts with Business Partners, IT Business Analyst and other IT support team such as CNCs and DBAs, and build and maintain a strong relationship with the 3rd party service providers and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will coordinate the JDE and Support Teams within the JDE Service team, assist in prioritization of critical issues, facilitate effective and efficient communications between JDE Support, Business partners and IT Business Analysts, as well as ensure that SLA with Business is respected. They will analyze, identify and implement improvements to the support services that will increase quality and drive efficiencies. The individual will proactively analyze incident trends to identify the underlying root causes of common incidents and drive the implementation of permanent fixes to prevent reoccurrence, facilitate prioritization of problems with Business partners and IT Business Analysts, and drive root cause analysis of prioritized problems and implementation of permanent solutions.
The IT Lead, JDE Systems Supply Chain will lead infrastructure projects and bug fixes and lead efforts with support team to collect and analyze key metrics for service in order to measure SLA adherence and identify and understands trends, leading to corrective actions or improvements. They will participate in MD&D JDE strategies and standardization efforts such as identifying and leveraging best practices, leading or participating in teams created to address specific JDE support services opportunities, and driving the leveraging of shared teams through the standardization of processes.
The incumbent will ensure implementation of all relevant J&J policies and procedures (SOP's) and that these are respected and followed, support and participate in audit activities when required, which may include gathering of data and implementation of remediation activities, and verify alignment of Operations G&O's, tracking metrics. They must be able to keep current with the latest technologies when requested by his/her tasks.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of related IT experience is required. Prior experience with JDE is strongly desired. Prior experience with managing support teams, preferably with JDE is strongly desired. Prior experience supporting Manufacturing, Distribution and Finance is strongly desired; preferably with Lifescan and/or Animas. Basic understanding ITIL or foundation certification is desired. Strong communication skills are required to manage support team and collaboration with peers and business partners. Strong analytical skills are required to help drive Incident Management, Problem Manager and Service Improvements. A process oriented approach to drive standardization of support services is needed.
