Description
Develops and implements key account strategy in support of the regional and country's strategic, brand and business plan to grow category and market share.
• Develops and leads execution of defense plans to counter competitive activities.
• Understand customer objectives, shopper, consumer & category trends to optimize plans and business opportunities so as to engage with major customers & support key account teams for implementation of aligned goals.
• Manages and evaluates strategic role and business opportunities of key customer accounts, provides guidance for negotiating commercial contracts of key customer accounts and coach key account teams for sales, channel, category management initiatives.
Leads, participates in top-to-top management business reviews with major customers, providing a consolidated view of global, regional & country implications & opportunities.
• Builds strong customer & internal stakeholder relationships to develop the joint business efforts to a higher level of collaboration and growth, facilitating for Johnson & Johnson to become preferred partner of choice.
• Ensures that Key Account teams delivers against Key Call objectives fostering behavioral change and commitment with ECP so as to shape and raise the professional eye care & retail environment.
• Ensures all key account teams and programs are healthcare compliant and Credo based with key focuses on customer sell-through & maintenance of healthy trade inventory.
• Develops key account sales capability and provides coaching to grow organizational capability, bench strength and pipeline.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and above.
• Minimum 10 years of customer engagement experience across sales/key accounts, in-market operations, regional management, and customer marketing
• Understands the principles of Key Account Management and has a good grasp of marketing and category management.
• In-depth knowledge of Key Account Management in China
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with strong ability to influence.
• Strong leadership and people development skills
• A strategic thinker who has a strong commercial acumen and analytical mind
• Results and Performance Driven, understands selling through physicians and third parties
• Mandarin skills
• Availability to spend time in China with frequent travel
