Neutrogena Corporation develops, manufactures, and markets premium skin and hair care products sold worldwide and recommended, used and prescribed by medical professionals. The product line includes bar and liquid cleansers, shampoo, hand cream, body lotion, facial moisturizers, sun protection and cosmetics, as well as other hair and skin care products.

Today, we are looking for a Professional Sales Representative for the Neutrogena sales force. The primary objective of the Professional Sales Representative is to meet established sales goals inclusive of market share objectives. The sales representative will be supported in this initiative by having the opportunity to execute national, regional and local promotional activities and programs; these campaigns will be designed to advance sales in specific product lines and therapeutic areas.

While in the field, you will be the direct line to our customers. Therefore, you will be responsible executing our strategic initiatives and helping us mold the future by providing us with customer feedback and market place information. Your insights regarding customer feedback and marketplace trends will be an invaluable part of helping us to continually improve.

The successful Professional Sales Representative will demonstrate the ability to target and manage his or her territory strategically while operating within an assigned budget and adhering to administrative duties. They will work closely with members of the regional sales team to improve team performance and even further enhance the sales force's culture or pride, inclusiveness, individual accountability and unmatched dedication towards making the sales force the premier skin & hair sales force valued for improving people's lives.

Qualifications


To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: Excellent written and oral communication skills, a minimum B.A./B.S. degree, valid driver's license and clean driving record, ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel. A minimum of 1 years of outside business-to-business sales experience is preferred. Knowledge of Neutrogena products, policies, procedures, and sales strategies is strongly preferred. Previous outside sales experience is preferred. The ability to maintain a professional image is required. Candidates with the ability to provide previous sales results, demonstrate planning and organization skills; and, execution of sales strategy is highly desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with prior sales experience and to candidates living within 30 miles of the posted territory. As business dictates, work additional and flexible hours beyond 40-hour work week for work and travel on weekends (i.e., conventions, meetings, etc.) is required. A valid driver's license issued within the U.S. and ability to operate an automobile is required. Physical requirements of this position include the ability to lift and transport samples, literature, AV equipment and miscellaneous items (30-50 lbs.).
