Role Summary:

As a Marketing intern working in the Marketing team at Consumer a division of Johnson and Johnson Inc., you will work closely with a Brand Manager to develop and implement both long term strategic brand marketing plans and annual business plans. As marketing initiatives are locally developed, you will have exposure to significant strategic projects.

This is a complex assignment with exposure to new product launches, artwork development, and all elements of the marketing mix (i.e. TV advertising, Secondary Media, Online advertising, Professional Marketing, Public Relations, Consumer Sampling, In-Store Promotional Programs, Direct to Consumer Programs)

Major Responsibilities:

Establish objectives and strategies, with focus on these key areas: product, promotion, pricing, packaging and merchandising

Ensure consistency with the overall brand marketing plans

Lead the execution of activities related to the launch of new products/claims

Assist in the development and execution of the business plan for the brand and as part of multi-functional teams including sales, logistics, regulatory and finance

Evaluate and communicate in-market results, analysis and recommendations relevant to your brand to senior management

Collaborate with a variety of cross functional partners to develop launch plans for new products, go to market strategies, and coordinate advertising and promotional campaigns

Utilize project management skills to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met

Qualifications


In final two years of a Bachelor of Business Administration degree program (preferably majoring in Marketing) OR currently enrolled in an MBA program.

We are seeking individuals with strong interpersonal skills, solid business acumen, a high sense of urgency with a bias for action, the ability to take initiative and intellectual curiosity. You must have good influencing skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, in a dynamic, fast-paced and team-oriented environment. You must be innovative and consumer-focused. Strong analytical skills and superior oral and written communication skills in English are required. Some knowledge of statistics and research methods is beneficial. Proficiency with computer tools including web applications, MS Office applications and other database applications will also be necessary.
