Description

The Supply Chain and Global Finance organizations at Johnson & Johnson are undergoing significant change, to enable growth and value for Johnson & Johnson through a Global Integrated Supply Chain organization that optimizes services, reduces costs and enables quality and compliance, as well as the roll-out of the Global Finance shared service organization that drives significant efficiencies and improved controls. An important element in delivering the Global Supply Chain enterprise strategy is the establishment of the Back to Basics (BtB) Program.

The overall purpose for the creation of the BtB team is to translate corporate strategy into a clear picture of J&J's Enterprise Supply Chain and Global Finance business models by defining key strategic capabilities, standard processes, quality and compliance standards & supporting infrastructure. BtB is a process-based business transformation Program to deliver the Supply Chain strategic enterprise capabilities and enable Supply Chain and Finance efficiencies enabled through deployment of a business services platform built off of SAP tools and technologies.

Specific objectives of the BtB organization are to: Build an end-to-end (90%+) common Enterprise Process Template for 'core' processes and data standards and enable 'build once/deploy many times' for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) deployment. Re-direct upcoming ERP implementations to deploy the global template. Move to a single Global SAP footprint for Supply Chain, Finance, and Procurement & Order to Cash by 2020. Build and maintain a BtB organization capability to support strategic planning and sustained execution.

The IT Supply Chain organization is seeking an IT Lead - Data Governance and Analysis. This position is based in Raritan, NJ or globally at a J&J facility.

The IT Supply Chain organization is seeking an IT Lead to support the Back to Basics program. The incumbent will be responsible for the execution of governance and maintenance processes and solutions for key business data elements. The position will be individually accountable to lead data governance and analysis activities with the program core team for multiple concurrent project deployments. This position will report to the Back to Basics IT Manager Data Management and Governance.

The IT Lead will hold a working command and understanding of data governance processes and systems to address data needs of Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Deliver, and Finance objects in the SAP ERP suite.

Collaborate with business partners to determine scope, goals and objectives.
Lead the project team in designing a "to be" process. Demonstrate the impact of procedures and their effect on the organization. Critically review and recommend changes to processes in part or in their entirety.

Analyze global, cross sector business requirements.

Propose new solutions and leverage existing J&J system solutions to build the global design.

Create and manage and the implementation of changes into the global template.

Develop use cases. Determine data flows and sources; identify data governance needed to support goals and uses in a process.

Responsible for SAP and non-SAP technology enablement capabilities in data governance.

Design, build, test, and support for data governance workflows across multiple business processes and functional areas.

Define and manage J&J technical standards and full lifecycle support (setup, operations, upgrades) for SAP MDG or other tool usage.
Support the design/build/test of SAP MDM integrations.

Support the design/build/test of SAP Information Steward data quality rules.

Design/build/test/support data analysis dashboards and reports.

Responsible for creating an impact analysis and testing plans.

Create functional design documents, solution summaries, and conceptual designs of technology solutions.

Create test scripts. Oversee unit and system testing. Support end user acceptance testing.

Review functional designs created by external consultants and vendors.

Work with developers to ensuring that RICEF's have been developed correctly.
Adhere to J&J standards (SDLC, CSV, GxP and SOX).

Perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications


A bachelor's degree is required.

Minimum of 5 years of corporate professional experience required.

At least one large scale system implementation or programming experience required.

Excellent communication skills required.

Change Management and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience required.

Project management experience required, preferably in multi-project and multi-cultural setup.

Experience with data analysis/management tools (ETL tools, Informatica, SAP MDM, MS Excel, MS Access, Oracle, Cognos, Business Objects, SAP BW) is required.

Minimal experience with workflow tools such as SAP MDG or Workflow is required.

Experience deploying and supporting SAP or related Supply Chain and Finance Management systems preferred.

Practical hands-on configuration experience within the SAP tools and SAP data objects preferred.

Experience implementing or supporting manufacturing systems preferred.

Knowledge of GXP Processes, SOX and GAMP 5 standards preferred.

Experience collaborating in a cross-functional team environment preferred.

Global position

If staffed outside current deploying area must be willing to adapt to flexible schedule to meet time-zone requirements of deploying region and must be willing to adopt up to an additional 25% travel

The work environment is a normal office setting.

Domestic/International travel is required up to 50% of the time. Peak periods of travel may be near 100% for 1-2 months around go-lives
