Position Description: Provides hardware, operations and systems software support for Production Applications, COTS, packaged and/or Ryder developed custom systems not excluding IT Security or Telecom.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of related experience in infrastructure / telecom / network environments with some experience in hardware and systems operations and engineering (hardware and software).
- 2-4 years of related experience in IT operations and support.
- 2-4 years of experience using performance and capacity monitoring and management software.

Responsibilities:
- Basic understanding of distributed systems architecture and general knowledge of multiple technical disciplines.
- Technical knowledge and aptitude in the areas of hardware, operating systems software, networks, network topologies, PC workstations (configuration and connectivity), network file servers, applicable software, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Basic understanding of the enterprise business and business processes; awareness of business unit functions and cross-group dependence/relationships.
- General knowledge of hardware and network provider services and understanding of network (WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, SNA) implementation principles, routing protocol options.
