The Biomed Tech III maintains, calibrates, inspects and repairs clinical and patient care equipment under close supervision of work progress and accuracy. The individual makes certain that performed tasks comply with established guidelines stipulated by the NFPA, AAMI, JCAHO, and the hospital.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate Degree: Biomedical Electronics or equivalent; advanced OEM training in specialty.

5–7 years- As a Biomedical Equipment Technician or equivalent.

Experience with GE Monitoring or Cardiac equipment preferred.
