To provide therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care interventions, under physician direction; based upon assessment and communication with other health care professionals to treat cardio-pulmonary and related disorders.
Essential Functions:
- Perform duties of a respiratory therapist
- Daily operations of RT dept, including ordering equipment/supplies, staffing, etc.
- Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement
- Support staff therapists providing patient care
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- All functions of respiratory therapist, able to work with a diverse workgroup, excellent communication skills, commitment to high quality pt care, high level of knowledge in RT, and RRT. Able to perform Web searches for medical evidence, RT supplies, and other resources.
- Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapy
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Oregon Respiratory Therapist license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced respiratory therapist skills, training/teaching/preceptor experience, computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
