Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Experience in delivery of data models on several large data warehousing projects
- 10+ years of IT work experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
- Prior people management experience
- The ability to work with business analysts and more technical business users and convert abstract business process descriptions into data modeling requirements
- Very strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to document decisions made in meetings and alternative solutions discussed
- Familiarity with information architecture practices and their place in a broader architecture community
Desired skills/experience:
- 5+ years of data modeling experience using Sybase Power Designer or some other data modeling tool
- Thorough understanding or prior development experience in the use of relational databases
- Understanding of ETL technologies such as SAP BODS and/or Informatica Power Center
- Familiarity with data models within SAP ECC, SAP CRM, SAP APO systems
- Understanding of change data capture tools such as Informatica IDR or Oracle GoldenGate
