Lab Strategy Senior Consultant

This position demonstrates in-depth practice, knowledge and skills, manages evaluation projects, and is accountable for the successful execution of project goals and analytical deliverables. At the highest level of the job family, shares in accountability of outcomes and performance for all regions and the enterprise in oversight areas and demonstrates in-depth practice, knowledge, and skills, manages projects and programs, and are accountable for the successful execution of goals that are aligned with the goals of the Laboratory Strategy Program Management Office (PMO) and KP's Strategic Plan.

Essential Functions:
- Works on assignment of diverse scope.
- Assists the Executive Director in developing and executing goals that promote the success of the Laboratory Strategy PMOgoals, related to analytical deliverables, by evaluating established and emerging care practices.
- Clarifies stakeholder needs and identifies potential solutions.
- Performs programmanagement functionsand other analyses to establish and track priorities.
- Produces technical or professional work deliverables.
- Collaborates with peers, superiors, staff and regional stakeholders to influence regional strategies and goals for laboratory care delivery.
- Leads the development and implementation of key care delivery strategies at KP.
- Builds buy-in from internal and external key constituencies.
- Monitors project milestones and reports on progress.
-Under minimal supervision and guidance, conducts complex and/or innovative program evaluations: collect data, using sophisticated methods and sources, identify and implement analytic approaches that address challenges to validity or general ability, and prepare interpretations, conclusions, and recommendations.
- With Executive Director, prepares and makes formal presentations to various senior-level audiences.
- Identifies and escalates barriers to milestone achievement and recommends strategies to reduce or eliminate barriers.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with national and regional groups.
- Participates on regional or national work groups.
- Ensures customer service orientation both internally and externally.
- Plans and facilitates meetings, including agenda planning, minutes, follow-up, tracking, and timelines.
- Responsibilities impact the achievement of keyPMO objectives.
- Contributes to the achievement of department objectives.
- Erroneous decisions or failure to achievePMO objectives would normally affect expenditures and resources.
- Involves interpreting and analyzing established concepts.
- Exercises judgment to make decisions for less defined issues and selects methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Requires moderately complex decision-making.
- Develops solutions to complex problems.
- May refer to established precedents and policies when making decisions.
- Requires significant analysis to develop solutions for complex problems.
- Assumes other duties as directed.
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of related experience.
- Four (4) year degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
- Consider clinical expertiseneeds or healthcare operations.
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Laboratory or clinical/science background preferred.
- Full knowledge of industry practices.
- Master's degree preferred.
