IBM is looking for several candidates who have demonstrated proficiency as a J2EE Application Developer and have development knowledge and experience using SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) principles and related technologies.
The SOA Developer role assists in delivery of high quality solutions to clients in response to specific business requirements, develops technical skills, absorbs professional knowledge quickly, and performs assigned technical tasks including study, analysis, programming, and product installation.
This role also performs a variety of responsibilities including supporting solution construction, implementation, and system integration in a technology/industry specialty or product sales. Experience with Rational Requisite Pro, UML, Rational ClearCase, Rational ClearQuest and Rational Unified Process (RUP) is a plus.
This a full-time long-term supplemental opportunity located in Albany, NY.

Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 3 years experience in J2EE
- At least 3 years experience in Webservices
- At least 2 years experience in 2 Years Experience and One of the following: Rational ClearCase, RUP, Rational ClearQuest, Serviice Oriented Modeling, Architecture
- English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in SOA
- At least 3 years experience in Rational Requisite Pro
