Position Description:
- Objective of this role is to increase sales and sales management effectiveness through collection and measurement of sales pipeline and Ryder customer data, identification and management of third party data/information resources, development of sales tools and sharing of best practices.
Requirements:
- 4 year college degree required, MBA preferred.
- 3 years or more sales operations experience in B2B or B2C selling environment.
- Demonstrated experience with statistics, modeling in excel/access.
- IT knowledge and experience with customer databases, data warehousing, sales automation systems preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with process redesign.
- Experience managing 1-2 people.
- Other characteristics include good written and oral communication skills, high energy, ability to work on teams, strong people developer.
Additional Requirements: Additional focus will be to support customer retention programs through detailed analysis of business trends and utilization of predictive modeling.
Responsibilities:
- Win Loss reporting - quarterly reporting at region and ST level.
- Territory Planning - development and implementation of market potential analyses, territory and salesperson alignment strategies.
- Sales Strategy & Alignment- provide account level analysis in the development of sales alignment strategies for growth.
- Monthly Sales Scorecard Metric Tracking.
- Assist sales operations supervisor with sales productivity analysis as assigned.
- Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) - program management (coordination with Alpharetta based supervisor) and monthly reporting.
- Customer 360 program - results tracking and coordination of monthly field conference calls.
- Lost Business - monthly reporting.
- Retention results tracking and analysis.
- Customer Communications - oversee VP Sponsor program development and tracking, Customer Thank You Letters, Anniversaries, other programs as assigned.
- Assist retention supervisor with analysis, strategy and tactics designed to identify and address key drivers of defection (e.g. loyalty initiatives based on customer segmentation, renewal incentives, etc...).
