Position Description: The Material Follow-up Coordinator will be responsible for operational functions related to the dispatching of drivers.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Additional Requirements: - Bachelor's degree is preferred.
    - A minium of 1 (one) year administrative experience is preferred.
    - Knowledge of MS Office is necessary.
    - Candidate must possess the ability to communicate effectively with management on all levels and be customer focused.
    - Five years of relevant experience is strongly recommended.
    - Candidate must possess strong organization, problem solving and communication skills.
    - Knowledge of GM MGO system is preferred.
    - Candidate must possess strong organization, problem solving and communication skills.
    - Needs to be able to multi-task, work good under pressure, work with a team and be willing to be flexible with work schedule.

    Responsibilities: Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Customer service and processing administrative functions.
  • Monitor Supplier schedules and shipments to protect Assembly Plant production
  • Constant GM, Ryder and Supplier communication
  • Review/analyze ADHOC reports
  • Investigate Supplier issues
  • Report/issue PRRs and Alarms
  • Analyze plant counts and supplier shipments
  • Review/Respond to LCM Part Mins/Shortages, Request/Process Counts accordingly
  • Add/Cancel/Adjust Supplier routing per Ryder LMS Database
  • Ability to monitor Supply Chain to meet customers requirements
