Description

Neutrogena Corporation, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst, located in Los Angeles, CA.

Neutrogena Corporation develops, manufactures and markets premium skin and hair care products sold worldwide and recommended by medical professionals. The product line includes bar and liquid cleansers, shampoo, hand cream, body lotion, facial moisturizers, sun protection and cosmetics, as well as other hair and skin care products recommended, used and prescribed by dermatologists.

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide Financial Support and Leadership to various Neutrogena Marketing Teams. This individual will report to the Marketing Finance Manager.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Sales reporting and analysis, Financial Planning and Analysis, Brand Marketing expense management, Category Team support, budgetary support for SG&A cost centers, Sarbanes Oxley cycle ownership, month-end close responsibilities (journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations), Price Volume analysis, new product costing, and ad hoc analysis/presentations for senior management.

Qualifications


A minimum of three (3) years of related business experience is required. A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required preferably in Finance or Accounting. A CPA, CMA, MBA is preferable. The candidate must possess the ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization and have strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. The ability to maintain and improve consistent and sound business processes is required.

This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills, the ability to partner, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel is required and experience in SAP is preferred. The candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity and have experience building and implementing financially viable business models. The candidates must have good communication and negotiation skills, be able to work in a team environment, and be passionate about meeting stretch objectives.
