The Senior Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) represents the Platform Team as the FOD representative to ensure platform leadership through all stage of incremental, substantial and transformational business. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
The Senior Manager, PMO will be part of either the Beauty/Presbyopia/Astigmatism or Emerging Business Global Platform Team leading a <$500MM business with concept generation and execution for all 3 phases of the business, incremental, substantial and transformational. Specific to the accountabilities, the role will help lead the platform team in strategy, new growth drivers and portfolio growth to ensure the desired P&L is met for the platform. The position will also lead and facilitates interdisciplinary teams responsible for new product development through a 5 Stage Gate Project Management process (i.e. from opportunity assessment through global launch). This person is responsible for ensuring multifunctional inputs are obtained for strategies, tactics, budgets, and plans while generating plans to, identify gaps, assess and mitigate project risks, and manage potential conflicts.

Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor Degree plus 8+ years of business experience in a health care industry. Requires at least 4+ years of cumulative experience in one or more of the following functions (product development, new product management, marketing, supply chain). 2+ years of Project management experience preferred. 2+ yrs of experience successfully leading multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment preferred. Demonstrated ability to build consensus, to lead teams through influence rather than authority, and build collaborative relationships. Demonstrated superior matrix management, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Demonstrated successful experience working in a leadership team to deliver strong P&L results for the business.
