Reporting to the Vice President Commercial Marketing, the Sr. Marketing Director Transfusion Medicine is responsible for leading the pipeline, equity and Worldwide Franchise strategy for Transfusion Medicine, including Donor Screening. The main job responsibilities of this incumbent will be to demonstrate expertise of Marketing Excellence practices, branding, segmentation, global footprints, new product launches, and global strategy. As well as a track record of effectively developing, leading, and executing plans. This Director will serve as a global expert for the franchise and lead strategy development and execution to support the product lines. Continually assess the competitive landscape, generate and implement competitive strategies requiring new ideas and creative solutions, and will demonstrate effective planning and prioritization skills. Work within regulatory guidelines to achieve business goals and develop lifecycle management planning and portfolio planning strategies. Lead marketing communications including developing line of business communications, utilizing brand standards/guidelines, integrate communications, and manage agency relationships. This incumbent will also be responsible for leading a team of managers & directors while also driving strong partnerships and collaboration with regional marketing teams.

Qualifications


A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required, an MBA is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of progressive marketing experience is required, including regional or inline experience. A minimum 5 years of people management experience is required. Global/multi-cultural experience is required. New product development and/or external partner relationship management is preferred. Proven track record with marketing in a medical devices environment is strongly preferred. Strong collaboration and partnering skills are required. Demonstrated experience leading product launches is required. Experience leading teams from creating initial product concepts through market launch is strongly preferred. This position will require up to 25% travel and will be based in Raritan, NJ.
