Description
Johnson & Johnson IT Shared Services, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an IT Manager, SAP BI Reporting, located in New Brunswick, NJ.
The Manager - Reporting (BI) will be accountable for enabling the reporting capability for HR/Payroll system leveraging the SAP ECC6 and BI platform. The role will have significant knowledge of SAP technologies especially BI and should have some experience in HR/Payroll domain. This role will need to interpret functional requirements and be able to develop technical specifications according to the requirements. Design data models, new process chains, and reports. The role will have overall accountability on reporting capability within HR/Payroll solutions especially SAP BI. The role will design, build and provide operational L3 support to SAP BI reporting capabilities. Drive reporting solutions and problem resolution of issues by bringing teams together - both internal and external to J&J. Work across multiple countries and cultures. Lead and influence teams in a virtual work environment. The role must be able to effectively communicate complex technical changes to non-technical teams. Aid incident management teams with problem investigations. The role will ensure J&J System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) requirements are completed. Provide guidance on continuous improvement. Identify improvement opportunities that can be addressed through BI/BW technologies.
Qualifications
This position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Candidates with a degree in Information Technology, or Computer Science are preferred. Candidates with a certification in SAP BI are preferred. Project Management Certification is also preferred. This position requires a minimum of 8 years of IT experience. 5 years of application delivery experience is also required. In addition this position requires a minimum of 3 years SAP Business Warehouse or Business Objects experience. Candidates are required to have worked on at least 2 full life cycle SAP implementations. This position requires 2 years of experience in SAP NetWeaver development tools. This position requires Hands-on experience in the following: SAP BI extraction using standard and enhanced data extractor and available development tools for SAP and non-SAP data sources, Data modeling, star schema, and info providers design in BI and Query and report development using BEx Analyzer and Query Designer.
This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong collaboration and team-building skills. Demonstrated experience solving a variety of technical challenges around integration, personalization, and innovation is also required. The candidate will require knowledge in project estimation, converting functional requirements into technical design, code review, and performance tuning. This position requires strong analytical skills to proactively recommend system improvements. Experience in leading a cross functional team and direct people management required. This position requires a Change Agent with a high tolerance for ambiguity. The ability to adopt and deploy J&J Credo leadership skills is required and this position requires that the candidate maintains integrity and trust within and across all organizations and relationships. This position requires 10% travel and will be based in New Brunswick, NJ.
