The Manufacturing Engineering Technician is technical role which supports manufacturing automation solutions in Brewery Operations. This role requires technical proficiency in the design, integration, implementation, and ongoing support of manufacturing automation technologies in support of the brewing, packaging and shipping of our products processes. The incumbent must be capable of working effectively on multi-disciplinary teams to support problem-solving as well as engage in continuous improvement initiatives. The incumbent must be capable of assisting on-shift personnel with advanced problem-solving skills and timely resolution to escalated emergency break-down situations. Associates Degree in computer science, manufacturing automation technology, or equivalent technical degree/certification. 1-3 years experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment MCSE or equivalent certifications preferred Skills and Knowledge: · Microsoft Windows installation, configuration, and support. · PC workstations and peripherals hardware configuration, installation, and support. · HMI configuration and support â Wonderware, IFix, DeltaV, PanelView · Manufacturing Networks (Ethernet, DeviceNet, ControlNet, FieldBus) â configuration, troubleshooting, and support. · Process Control /Instrument configuration and support including systems Integration using OPC Interfaces · Wireless and Wireless Devices â configuration and support · Knowledge of Rockwell and/or Emerson Automation platforms preferred. · Microsoft Development Tools - Visual Basic, .NET, Excel, SQL preferred
