In this highly visible role, Kaiser Permanente seeks a Messaging and Collaboration Solution Consultant Lead who cantranslate client business requirements into specific applications, processes, and business solutions. This individual will participate in and contribute to KPIT wide initiatives in the areas of to define appropriate use and governance, information management, privacy and security, data analytics and visualization, information modeling, and data access controls.

The Solution Consultant Lead will share responsibilities for designing, developing, implementing and supporting out-of-the-box and custom solutions for the KP IT and Business customer.
This individual will report to the Messaging and Collaboration manager and take direction from the KP End User Services, SharePoint Services Program Manager, and will partner with other IT organizations to deliver cross-platform and application integration and solutions.
Specific Duties:
This individual will be responsible for contributing to a variety tasks related to Messaging and Collaboration product and service management, with specific emphasis on:
Messaging & Collaboration Solution Project Management: Manage projects starting from scope definition through design, development, testing, QA/UAT, and implementation into production. Consults on implementation of solution recommendations in multiple business areas. Consult with senior client sponsors and other KP leadership to inform and promote successful project development and implementation within the organization. Manage analysis of current business process and functional requirements, and recommends 'To Be' processes and appropriate supporting technologies. Deliver analysis of enterprise-wide or very complex client needs in project areas such as: new business operating models, innovative approaches to IT solutions support, market research of emerging or available product functionality, and operational readiness assessment.
SharePoint Management: Works closely with SPS Central Administrators, IBM and other IT partners, to manage and leverage the SPS platform (Microsoft and 3rd party applications, upgrades and configuration; configuration items, solution packages, etc.).
Business Case Development: Develop comprehensive and strategic business cases with cost/benefit dimensions of proposed projects that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions.
Consulting and Operations Analysis: Provide integrated systems planning and recommend alternative technologies that will enhance current or anticipated information systems supporting overall corporate and business goals.Provide SharePoint data and business intelligence solutions, platform and infrastructure guidance and recommendations.
Managing the Application Development Lifecycle (ALM): Influence cross-functional groups to identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information source and system specifications. Author, contribute to, and publish support-related documentation to internal SharePoint knowledge base. Assist to define and ensure adherence to design and programming standards.
Solution Implementation and Support: Assist with and coach SharePoint Services team and partners in appropriate use, governance, project management, ALM, and support of SharePoint solution designs and implementation.

6+ Years in IT software and hardware administration, support, call center or other solution and technical support.
Microsoft Technology or Administrator Certification is strongly encouraged.
Bachelor's degree or 4+ years experience in related discipline.
