Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience
- MS with 3+ years of field experience in Weed Science, Plant Pathology, Agronomy, Botany, Horticulture, or other Plant Science related fields.
- Training and experience in experimental design, field test plot management, statistics, and data interpretation is required.
- Sound technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a cross functional team environment.
- Candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills to clearly articulate results and recommendations to diverse audiences and influence research priorities and strategy.
Desired Skills/Experience
- PhD in Weed Science, Plant Pathology, Agronomy, Botany, Horticulture, or other Plant Science related fields.
- Practical knowledge of row crop agriculture including weed control and plant disease management
- Experience with greenhouse/growth chamber research trial management would be of important value.
