Johnson & Johnson IT Shared Services, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an IT Lead, Solution Architecture, located in New Brunswick, NJ.

The Solutions Architect/Technology lead will be responsible to design/manage development of various technology solutions leveraging various web/portal technologies and mobile technologies as applicable. This position will be the primary intake of web/mobile requirements and will define the overall strategy and technical deliverables for the solution in alignment with business objectives. The resource will work with a various groups of resources to drive project planning and execution and will have responsibility of day to day execution of web projects. The resource will work with mobile development activities including implementation plan, resource plan, manage interdependencies, issue management and resolution processes.

This role will need to interpret functional requirements and be able to develop technical specifications according to the requirements. This role will have a strong ability to understand business processes and create solutions. This role will also be responsible for addressing the current and future needs of the organization. This individual will be able to troubleshoot any issues, enhance system when needed and drive resolution for critical issues by bringing teams together. The role must be able to effectively communicate complex technical changes to non-technical teams. This role will aid incident management teams with problem investigations. This person will ensure correct Web solution architecture for development requirements and objects and ensure J&J System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) requirements are completed. In addition, this role will provide guidance on continuous improvement. Identify improvement opportunities that can be addressed through Portal technologies.

Qualifications


This position requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree OR a HS Diploma and 10 years of relevant IT experience. Candidates that possess a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or technical field are preferred. This position requires a minimum of 4 years of web development experience. This position also requires a minimum of 3 years experience in SharePoint portal development. Candidates that have experience with mobile development and mobile user interface technologies are preferred. Experience with mobile cross platform tools is preferred. Experience gathering requirements is required. Candidates with Drupal Experience are preferred. Demonstrated experience solving a variety of technical challenges around integration, personalization, and innovation is required. This position requires adequate knowledge in project estimation, converting functional requirements into technical design, code review, performance tuning etc. This position requires strong analytical skills to proactively recommend system improvements. Experience in working with a cross functional team is required. This position requires a Change Agent with a high tolerance for ambiguity. The ability to adopt and deploy J&J Credo leadership skills is required. The ability to maintain integrity and trust within and across all organizations and relationships is required. This position will be based in New Brunswick, NJ.
