Our national managed care company is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst in our Harrisburg, PA Service Center. As a strategic member of the Customer Service Operations (CSO) team, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex research and analysis to support business operations requirements. Will also develop business critical recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Conducts analysis of complex business operations processes and functional requirements.
  • Prepares appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.
  • Evaluates existing business processes and recommends efficient, cost-effective solutions which support the business operations and functional requirements.
  • Participates in cross-functional project teams to identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information sources and distribution paths, and system specifications.
  • Develops complex business cases with cost, service, and benefit dimensions that are used for funding and scope decisions.
  • Applies business and technical knowledge to analyze business operational software application requirements to ensure requirements are incorporated into system design and testing.
  • Support system enhancements, business user testing coordination, system conversions, and/or new business acquisitions/implementations.
  • Provide guidance to other analysts on complex assignments.
  • Performs other duties as required.

 

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5 – 7 years experience in data analysis in a customer service environment within the health 

    Preferred Qualifications:


    • Advanced knowledge of MS Access, Excel, and SQL Server.
    • Familiar with VBA, VB, and SQL programming languages
