The Regional Supply Planner is responsible for maintain a balance net demand plan by SKU with short, mid and long term horizon taking into account demand and supply constraints. Regional Supply Planners are interacting between the supply chain functions and the Affiliates teams to enable the delivering of operating profit, working capital and customer service goals for a given portfolio. You will perform arbitration and decision taking in times of demand conflict.
The main duties and responsibilities of the position are:
- Understanding factory capacity, capabilities & processes
- Running forecast simulations on forecasted demand evaluating inventory projection and coverage
- Creating a time phased inventory plan by item creating an optimal inventory level
- Releasing supply plan into firmed and planned orders
- Identifying and prioritizing productions or deliveries, liaising with relevant parties to resolve any shortfall
- Arbitrating and decision making for supply conflicts or short falls to balance production capacity
- Supporting New Product Introductions and coordinating changes (PIPO, re-sitting etc.)
- Providing supply analysis, performance and KPI reports
- Supporting the S&OP process with data and supply representation
- Leading supply review calls with the Affiliates
- Maintaining Supply Master Data in R/3 and APO
- Contributing to the continuous improvement through development and implementation of new best practices and system enhancements

Qualifications
- A Tertiary degree or equivalent work experience considered a strong supply chain and/or planning background/experience. (e.g. Logistics Course/Commercial Economics)
- A minimum of 2-4 years experience in a FMCG company performing a Supply Chain role
- Tenacity, ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment and ability to focus on priorities are key factors
- Good experience with ERP/MRP systems is required, with a preference for SAP R/3 and APO
- Working proactively, solution-oriented, independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Fluency in English is required, fluency in additional European Languages is a plus
