The RBM will manage 9-11 Oncology Area Business Specialists in the Western half of the US.

The RBM has responsibility for coaching, mentoring, the development, and growth of the Area Business Specialist Team who support patient access to JBI Oncology products (ZYTIGA®, PROCRIT®, DOXIL®, NUCYNTA®). Within a defined geographic area, provides proactive support to the sales teams with a focus on health plan coverage, patient affordability, contracting, reimbursement, practice management and representing the organization at an executive level. Additionally, will consistently demonstrate business acumen, leadership and serve as a resource to Internal and External Customers regarding payer policies; reimbursement regulations and processes; practice management; Medicare Part D; and staffing resources. They will consistently demonstrate strong leadership within the Oncology franchise as opportunities present themselves. Partnering and collaboration with internal and external customers is required.
The role of the Region Business Manager is to support the Janssen Biotech sales team and products in a manner commensurate with company policy and sales direction, while utilizing tools such as professional education and marketing programs. The overarching goal of the Region Business Manager must be able to assess access opportunities in Janssen Biotech that are hindered by Medicare Part D, reimbursement, account capability, or cost issues.
The RBM must strategically develop regional strategies that align with and support sales leadership. They will reinforce and sell corporate programs; partner with the DMs and Marketing in all aspects of Oncology promotion, including but not limited to ZytigaOne, PROCRITline™, DOXIL Cares™ pull-through, and reimbursement.
The RBM will partner internally with the sales organization, including but not limited to area, Region Business Directors, and National Sales Director; Sales Learning and Development; Payor and Brand Marketing; Corporate Accounts; Government Accounts; Advocacy; Healthcare Compliance, and Medical Affairs.
It is critical that the RBM partner externally with Physicians and physician office staff including office managers, Clinical Staff (e.g, RNs, LPNs/LVNs, NPs, MAs, PAs), billing staff; hospital administrators, CFOs, billing and collections staff, clinical staff including pharmacy director; Specialty Pharmacy Providers, Health Plans' and MCOs' Medical Directors, Case Managers, Pharmacy Directors, and utilization management staff; and Janssen Biotech, Inc. approved vendors.
The RBM will have responsibility for the managing, developing, and training of 9-11 Area Business Specialists.

Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (required), MBA desired but not required. 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, medical device sales. At least 5 years of specialty sales experience (includes biologic, medical device, etc…). Previous experience in sales management or in a formal management position is required. Excellent business acumen, project management, leadership skills, track record of people development, and knowledge of Medicare Part D, reimbursement, and contracting are also required. The ideal candidate will have extensive sales management experience with a proven track record of people development. Knowledge of the Oncology market is desired but not required.
