Reporting to the Global Director of Professional Education, the Manager, Professional Education will determine what education activities support the achievement of desired goals stated by franchise/specialty/company.

The Manager, Professional Education will drive delivery of professional education in support of the overall Institute brand and achievement of agreed upon goals with stakeholders. The Manager will lead the design, planning, implementation, resource allocation, evaluation and documentation components of educational activities in collaboration with other Institute teams and key stakeholders for Institute based, virtual, and remote sites. This person will manage the production, development and delivery of professional education materials in support of strategic educational activities to ensure high quality educational events and materials. They will identify all logistical needs for educational activity delivery and work with shared services for implementation - serving as single point of contact for key stakeholder.

The Manager will be responsible for the implementation of Cordis' Medical Education Platform and will manage the assessment of educational needs among physicians and supporting healthcare professionals. The Manager, Professional Education will be responsible for the development of continuing education programs via interaction with initiators of grant requests, academic institutions, company field representatives, industry thought leaders, vendors and internal cross-functional teams. The Manager will ensure that all Company support for Medical Education meets Federal, State, local and Company regulations along with Health-Care compliance policies. The Manager is responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level and for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications


The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the development and dissemination of educational programs including the facilitation of the education process is required. Medical Device experience is required, endovascular experience is preferred. Clinical experience is preferable. Position will require up to 70% domestic travel. Strong computer skills and excellent project management skills are required. Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel and a high level of self-direction are essential.
