Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Quality Technician II, in our Quality organization located in Rochester, NY.

The Quality Technician II's primary responsibilities support our three manufacturing operations in Rochester (equipment, fluids, reagents manufacturing). The Quality Technician II will assess the completion and adequacy of the Device History Record (DHR) to support the release of customer product using the LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), SAP (Crossroads), QERTS and Manufacturing Specifications. The Quality Technician II must have the ability to summarize data and coordinate with manufacturing supervisors the efficient release of product.

Qualifications


Requires a minimum of Associate Degree, or four year degree (preferably in medical technology or related life sciences). Minimum of 12 months work experience in a regulated environment. Must be detail oriented having the ability to work both independently and as a part of a dynamic team. Must diligently follow detailed procedures documented in SOP's, work instructions, forms and on check lists. Strong documentation and organizational skills are required. Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required. Process Excellence knowledge is preferred. Requires a strong communicator, both verbally and written. Must be a highly flexible individual who can work well in an environment with defined production deadlines. Requires diligently following compliance requirements and has knowledge of GMP's. Knowledge of blood analyzer equipment is preferred. The hours for this position are primarily 8am - 5pm, M-F. Candidate must be flexible to cover additional shift hours (2:30pm - midnight) and occasional week-ends as needed. Positions are located in Rochester, NY.
