Job description
The candidate will be responsible for directing and supporting the Full System Lifecycle testing activities for all applications and databases supporting development of new capabilities for the Clientâ??s Personnel Security and Assurance Systems. This system is the system of record (clearances) for all of DoD, therefore great detail is required to ensure that system enhancements, changes, fixes and the like do not compromise this environment. The candidate will need to possess a deep understanding of the Oracle DBMS environment. A significant component of this position is the understanding of Oracle tools, monitoring, capacity management, performance management, and also the subset environment of ETL. ETL is a large component of this responsibility, so the candidate will need to understand the intricacies of ETL using a myriad of tools and the processes for validation.
Ability to understand the impacts of client change requests and how those requests impact the stability, performance of the current environment. Ability to present alternative recommendations for the client to consider.
Position is located in Seaside, CA
Some of our client engagements do require up to 100% travel for an extended period of time. Consultants are required to be flexible with their ability to travel and cannot refuse projects due to travel.

Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 4 years experience in Functional, System, Regression, and Performance Testing.
- At least 4 years experience in working between different platforms and databases.
- At least 4 years experience in working autonomously as well as in a team environment.
- At least 4 years experience in facilitation skills.
- At least 4 years experience in tool based methodology, e.g. CA Unicenter or Rational.
- At least 3 years experience in providing direction to testers to ensure successful deployment into production.
- At least 2 years experience in and familiarity with Red Hat Operating System Environment and also Window XP+
- Security clearance of Top Secret (TS/SSBI) - Active
- Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- U.S. citizenship required
- English: Intermediate
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- Certified in ITIL V3 Foundation Certification and/or Earned Value Concepts
