Position general description

Enable market access for new products at a sustainable and value-based reward for innovation, as part of the Latin America regional Center of Excellence for market Access.

With responsibility of the following therapeutic areas :

- Central Nervous System, Pain, diabetes...

And providing analytical data support across all therapeutic areas.

Main responsibilities
- Develop and drive implementation of regional Market Access, Health Economics and Pricing strategies for new products
- Liaise closely with various internal partners, specifically worldwide Market Access, the Latin America regional therapeutic area teams, and the local market access groups
- Integrate regional payer and market access needs into the global market access strategies and eventually into the global development strategies for new products
- Align with other LA functions, such as marketing and medical affairs, to ensure a cohesive, unified voice into the global organization
- Prepare operating companies optimally for Market Access launch readiness for new products, using tools and resources such as value dossiers, economic models, payer strategies, etc..
- Ensure alignment on regional pricing strategy and implementation
- Identify and assess opportunities for innovative market access models
- Support operating companies with Price & Reimbursement submissions, HTA reviews and market access related issues management
- Leverage best practices across the region
- Strengthen and deepen Health Economics, Pricing and MA capabilities; and diffuse among the LA market access function.
- Be the recognized champion for products in your therapeutic area

Position reports to: Marketing Access Regional Director

Qualifications

- Education: Graduate or post-graduate training in health economics/ epidemiology/ public health.
- Professional Experience: 5 years of experience in health economics or market access in the pharmaceutical, healthcare industry or government. Experience working in a multi-national setting.
- Good knowledge of LA health care systems and market access environment
- Understanding of the principles of HTA / HE
- Able to critically interpret and use medical and HE literature
- Analytical data skills to interpret public market data and integrate them into a market access plan
- Good and proven communication and networking skills
- Understanding of HCC and other industry compliance requirements
- Language: Fluency in English is a must; native Spanish.
