Our focus is on delivering the right products at the right time to the patient and to the Health Care Professional when they are needed most. To be successful, we need to combine strong clinical adoption of our products with the support of various non-clinical stakeholders.
We are looking to recruit a Territory Manager within the ETHICON™ Biosurgery Business unit. This individual will be responsible and accountable for driving the business in the South Wales territory.
Full product and selling skills training will be given as well as ongoing continued support in the role. ETHICON™ Biosurgery Territory Managers will undergo introductory training, held in the US. The Territory Manager will be required to live within the designated Territory and be flexible on their approach to work as some overnight travel and occasional weekend work may be necessary.
The individual will be responsible for maintaining and growing business in designated key accounts, using sound Key Account Management practices with full sales support back-up in the field and at head office. The Territory Manager will also be responsible for growth of new product innovations in line with forecast and using the Integrity Selling system. As part of an outstanding team, ETHICON™ Biosurgery Territory Managers perform beyond their own self-interest keeping the patient at the centre of their decisions, in order to achieve business goals. People development is fundamental to our business, and therefore you will be given responsibility to treat your territory as if it is your own business, maintaining key customers while developing strategies for new business.
Relevant experience or qualifications required:
The successful candidate will be an experienced, confident, self-driven and results focused sales professional. A practical ability to demonstrate products and services is required, as is suitability for spending a significant amount of your time in the operating theatre environment. Successful candidates will also have a strong affinity for working closely with others in a team and will show entrepreneurial behavior. Personal drive and commitment are key qualities required to deliver outstanding results within this growing business.
The individual should be able to clearly demonstrate a track record of sales success and have a high energy, fast-paced approach to work. A sound working knowledge of the NHS would be a distinct advantage, as would previous experience in Medical Devices and/or Pharmaceutical sales. The role requires a high level of well defined communication skills and the successful individual should be competent and comfortable presenting to large groups of healthcare and procurement professionals.
A degree in a business or science discipline is highly desirable. You must also demonstrate excellent PC skills and have a competent working knowledge of MS Office packages. You will also hold a full clean driving license.
