Objected Oriented ActionScript 3 developer for Adobe Flash, specifically for the creation of custom Flash video players like the NBA League Pass console, the Masters live video player and others. Strong development experience in team environment. Customer facing experience and skills. Work well with teams of technical, Information architecture and rich internet architects. Readiness to travel for long periods of time, ability to lift 50 lbs.
When working with other key stakeholders the candidate should be able to articulate deeply technical concepts in a customer friendly and understandable way. This would involve being able to assist with project managers, designers and information architects in scoping and pricing front end applications as well as working with a team of developers during the build, test and deployment phases. Customer work locations at major sporting events are production environments in which the candidate would need to work with customers and other members of the team in exciting but long hour and high stress situations.
We are looking for candidates with aspirations towards technical leadership, specifically technical architecture. Knowledge of tennis and golf scoring and French language skills would be a plus. This position is available immediately and requires the candidate to be located in the Atlanta area.
People Skills:
· The candidate should have experience working with a variety of clients at all levels of an organization as well as a level of comfort presenting their work in workshops and client meetings.
· Has developed relationships of mutual trust with people inside and outside of their organization based on respect, integrity, positive regard and an appreciation of the uniqueness of the individual.
While it may not be initially, this position requires 50-75% travel. Valid passport to travel outside the United States required.
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 3 years experience in Experience developing interactive applications and web sites
- At least 3 years experience in Internet industry experience
- At least 2 years experience in Adobe Flash, ActionScript 3, and Flex development experience
- At least 2 years experience in Adobe PhotoShop experience
- Basic knowledge in Experience with Akamai HD4Flash and Adobe FMS live streaming iwth Adaptive Bit Rate, Omniture and Core Metrics analytics, CDN networks including Akamai Media delivery, Akamai configuratin and Akamai N
- Readiness to travel Up to 3 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Intermediate
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in Adobe Flash, ActionScript 3, and Flex development experience
- At least 3 years experience in Adobe PhotoShop experience
- At least 3 years experience in Experience in full application lifecycle with UI integration from PhotoShop and Visio assets
- At least 2 years experience in Experience with mobile application development (especially iPhone/iPad/Android applications)
- At least 2 years experience in Experience with social media based platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter)
- At least 2 years experience in Sports industry experience (especially golf and tennis)
- English : Fluent
- French : Basic knowledge
