Job description
The NFHL (National Flood Hazards Layer) Technical staff is part of the NFHL data management team responsible for incoming GIS data validation, GIS data transformation, data load and data extraction. The NFHL Technical staff will work with the NFHL Technical Lead, ArcSDE Administrator and Oracle DBA to perform day-to-day NFHL data operations.
Some of our clients engagement do requirement up to 100% travel for an extended period of time. Consultants are required to be flexible with their ability to travel and cannot refuse project due to travel.

Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 3 years experience in strong communication skills and attention to detail
- At least 1 year experience in working in GIS-based service implementation or provision projects
- At least 1 year experience in coordinating System and Datum transformations and data conversion, Geospatial data load and geo-attribute editing and Geocoding
- Readiness to travel Up to 1 day a week
- U.S. citizenship required
- English: Intermediate
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 1 year experience in SAFE Software FME products
- At least 1 year experience in oESRI ArcIMS, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS server products and ArcSDE configuration, ArcSDE commands, ArcSDE tuning and ArcSDE data load oOracle Database
