Application Testing Lead
The application testing lead is a hands-on role that requires strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
Using in-depth analysis and test design skills, you'll work directly with business and IT organization to develop and deliver test strategies, test plans, and test cases for multiple small to medium size projects. Your responsibility includes leading small testing teams, analyzing business requirements, designing and executing the test cases. An understanding of the SDLC as well as a good understanding of the various phases of softare testing is required. Team leadership experience is required. Some test automation experience is also required. Candidates must have experience with HP testing tools. (HP QC, HP QTP) Additional experience with IBM Rational testing tools is preferred, but not required.
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 5 years experience in Hands-on experience in analyzing requirements and designing/executing test cases using HP Quality Center
- At least 2 years experience in Leading testing teams
- At least 4 years experience in Excellent client interaction and communication skills (written and verbal)
- At least 4 years experience in Must be able to facilitate meetings to gather requirements and present solutions
- English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
- At least 7 years experience in Hands-on experience in analyzing requirements and designing/executing test cases using HP Quality Center
- At least 4 years experience in Hands-on experience in test automation using HP Quick Test Professional
- At least 4 years experience in Leading testing teams
- At least 2 years experience in Hands-on experience with Rational Functional Tester
- English : Intermediate

Note Regarding Travel: The IBM Michigan Delivery Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our East Lansing, MI center. Some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site and could be several months up front (Monday thru Friday).
