The Associate Director of Insulin Delivery Marketing & Product Management is a business partner and leader that will establish the key strategies and tactics for Insulin Delivery business growth. The responsibilities of this position include defining the core product strategic position, leveraging the appropriate marketing mix communication vehicles, and effectively managing the product portfolio / line (including new product marketing / launch plan development, business case development, forecasting, defining the rolling 18 month marketing communications plans, allocating BMEs effectively, driving accountability in market mix deployment).

This role is a key Marketing leadership role that will strongly collaborate with Channel / Payer / HCP Marketing, BGM and Digital Marketing, Analytics / Insights, and Customer Service, as well as Global Strategic Marketing / Healthcare Compliance / Legal (where applicable), key Sales partners, Children with Diabetes, Professional Education, agency vendors (e.g., Group 360, DDB), and key external customer partners (including JDRF).

The incumbent must take a Leadership role in establishing the key strategies and tactics for Insulin Delivery business growth. The responsibilities of this position include defining the core product strategic position, leveraging the appropriate marketing mix communication vehicles, and effectively managing the product portfolio / line (including new product marketing / launch plan development, business case development, forecasting, defining the rolling 18 month marketing communications plans, allocating BMEs effectively, and driving accountability in market mix deployment). In addition, they will be accountable to collaborate and coordinate with key HCP marketing and selling initiatives (e.g., strategic position / message development, competitive selling, objection handling, speaker's programs, Advanced Leadership Team deployment, KOL advisory boards, message development) to achieve key company and brand objectives.

A successful candidate will ensure initiatives are aligned to key managed markets and channel strategies by proactively communicating with BGM Brand / Channel / Payer teams. Accountable to be a leader for the Insulin Delivery platform and developing best-in-class Insulin Delivery marketing principle / practice capability. Additional, they handle all talent / people development to ensure a robust bench and expertise (fully safe and compliant environment).

Qualifications


A Bachelors Degree is required, advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 7 years of related experience is required. A minimum of 5 years (combined) of previous experience in healthcare marketing is required. Previous experience in both Sales / Marketing and Insulin Delivery industry experience is strongly preferred. Consumer / healthcare professional marketing, US healthcare system, payer / reimbursement experience, and ROI/deal creation experience are all required. Previous people management experience is preferred. This position could require up to 30% domestic travel. Previous Diabetes Care Marketing and/or Management experience is strongly preferred.
