As an integral member of the Logistics team, the Supply Planner is responsible for managing the logistics of externally sourced product, related to replenishment of Finished Goods stock to balance inventory and incoming supply with the actual and projected demand to maintain and improve service levels and optimize inventory investment. Strong leadership and analytical skills, coupled with a high level of initiative and excellent communication skills are essential to achieve these objectives.
Major Responsibilities:
Accountable to meet or exceed the Open Stock SKU's UFR (Unit Fill Rate) targets for assigned brands and projects.
Drives analysis, communication and corrective action for out of stock situations.
Develops adequate supply replenishment plans based on current inventory position, supplier lead times, unconstrained open stock and promotional forecasts, supplier capacity, safety stock requirements, etc., as applicable. Issuing and managing of Non Stock P.O.'s to outside vendors.
Deploys inventory planning strategies to maintain and improve service levels and optimize inventory investment. Meets monthly inventory and DOS targets. Actively manages SLOB disposition.
Actively reviews opportunities to reduce MOQ's across supplier base, put together business case and makes recommendations to the management team to drive and implement these solutions.
Resolves exceptions to balance Supply and Demand; collaborate with relevant business partners in making decisions and tradeoffs that balance supply and demand; update, communicate and execute the agreed supply plan.
Works with several business partners to support new product introductions and promotional activities as needed.
Leads change management and CIP initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders.
Actively supports S&OP process; elevate unresolved supply planning issues; provide input, offer potential solutions and execute follow-up activities.
Establishes collaborative relationships with multiple functions: Internal and External Suppliers, Global Planning and Affiliate Management Group, Marketing, Sales Strategy, Project Management, Trade Customization Planning, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Material Master, Distribution and Transportation, Quality Assurance, Finance, US & Global counterparts.
Acts as the main point of contact for assigned domestic and global suppliers.
Accurately maintains SAP system parameters for assigned SKU's.
Communicates a 12-18 month rolling forecast to assigned suppliers on a monthly basis.

Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Logistics or business studies is preferred.
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar or related area, 3-5 years experience preferred.
Strong planning, organization and time management skills.
Demonstrates keen attention to detail.
Ability to assess, manage and elevate risk proactively.
Ability to work and effectively manage priorities in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Ability to work independently and without direct supervision, demonstrating a high sense of urgency.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, given heavy interaction with Internal and External Suppliers and Internal business partners (Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales, Trade Customization Planning, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Distribution & Transportation, Quality Assurance, Finance, etc.).
Proven track record of problem solving skills.
Continuous improvement, results oriented mindset.
Technical Competency requirements:
Proficient in MS Office software.
Current certification from an accredited Logistics program preferred (PMAC, APICS or Professional Logistician).
SAP knowledge an asset.
ARIBA knowledge an asset.
Advanced Excel skills an asset.
English a must, French is an asset.
