Responsible for providing Administrative Support and service to Small Business Accounts. Renewal Management Team, Broker Sales and Direct Sales. This includes processing related correspondence for existing groups and brokers, in a timely and efficient manner.

Essential Functions:
- Activates new sold groups for Small Business Direct and Broker Sales
- Processes Purchaser Advices for Account Management Team (i.e., plan changes, benefits changes, COBRA set-ups, missed contract renewals, terminations, etc.)
- Provides accurate rate quotes, benefits and plan information to existing groups and brokers
- Maintains good business relationships with employer groups and insurance brokers
- Provides phone coverage for the Account Management Team when requested
- Maintains good customer service relationships with business owners, brokers and other Kaiser Permanente personnel
- Performs other related duties and special projects as required
- Minimal impact
- Work tasks are generally defined
- Always follows established procedures or guidelines
- Refers more complex issues to Sr. Sales Production Coordinator or to others
- Uses verbal and written communications skills to convey general concepts and/or processes
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
- Generally works under close supervision
- Resolves routine issues independently
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum zero (0) - two (2) years of experience in an administrative support capacity
- Strong computer skills (minimum two (2) years)
- High School Diploma., GED or equivalent work experience required
- Ability to pass California Life and Disability Agent license within 120 days of hire
- Typing speed 35 to 50 wpm
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including problem solving, multi-tasking, and research capabilities
- General working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
