The Senior Performance Improvement Consultant Level III role provides performance improvement and consulting leadership to medium to large projects and initiatives, thereby supporting KPNW in achieving its performance targets.Manages the performance improvement consulting and analytical support for these projects and is accountable for the quality of the advice and analysis.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Five (5) plus years project management, business consulting, or process improvement experience.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in health care, business administration, or related field required.
- Six Sigma, Lean Master Green belt certification.
- Six Sigma, Lean Master Black belt within six months of hire.
- Manage complex projects or multiple projects of moderate complexity.
- Ability to supervise up to 25 team members on projects.
- Manage project budget, and / or manage moderately large projects.
- Use some judgment to review recommendations to organizational problems and determine course of action.
- Use advanced verbal and written communications methods to convey concepts to team members and clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three (3) years experience in one (1) of the following disciplines: Lean Six Sigma project execution, management consulting, planning, management/industrial engineering preferred.
- One (1) to two (2) years experience leading or managing people on projects preferred.
- Experience in management and business consulting preferred.
- Experience in an integrated health care system preferred.
- Project management certification, preferred (not required).
- Proven leadership skills in performance improvement projects including the following attributes: efficient, collaborative, candid, open and results-oriented preferred.
- Demonstrated process excellence skills (Six Sigma, Lean thinking, etc) preferred.
- Strong proficiency in the use of current software, including spreadsheets, process mapping tools, project workplan tools, charts and graphs, and basic Microsoft applications preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of analytic techniques pertinent to planning, finance, management engineering and medical economics preferred. This includes forecasting, sensitivity analysis, financial analysis such as NPV, decision analysis, cost-benefit/effectiveness and other economic analysis, and multi-variate statistical analysis.
- Basic understanding of advanced analytic techniques such as dynamic modeling/simulation advanced operations research techniques preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (1:1, peer, multi-disciplinary group, presentations, written) preferred.
- Ability to design and deliver formal training programs to staff and customers on advanced consulting and analytical tools and techniques preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to: Manage against multiple competing priorities of operational management customers and business process preferred.
- Establish clear performance contracts and project budgets preferred.
- Manage multiple large/strategic projects to achieve expected outcomes, on time, within budget preferred.
- Facilitate teams or groups of key stakeholders from all levels and segments of the organization, build teams, and resolve conflict preferred.

Salary Range:
$73,540 - $100,660
