GENERAL SUMMARY
As a technical member of a production support team, perform maintenance and troubleshooting for application systems surrounding integrated software and hardware configurations. Analyze business processes to troubleshoot functional issues and technical issues. Participate in software/hardware installation analysis and backend analysis and support implementation planning and operational preparations.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues in accordance with industry best practices and specific internal procedures and standards
- Contribute to finding root cause of issues and communicating to users and developers to repair issues
- Work with internal departments to provide assistance where needed for issues that cross application and organizational boundaries
- Help analyze client business processes and functional requirements that become part of issue resolution
- Monitor post-implementation system and product performance to prevent reoccurrence of operational issues and ensure efficiency of operation
- Lead and champion process improvement initiatives to induce cost savings and improve quality and service
- Provide on-call support as assigned
- Interact with users to support and improve their application experiences

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous (5-7 years) Java enterprise development experience in all phases of applications software development/maintenance life cycles in a client server environment or the same level of experience in related database concepts, including data/process analysis.
- Previous (3-5 years) J2EE-based application using Weblogic /JBoss Application Server.
- Previous (3-5 years) professional dotNet enterprise development experience.
- Previous (3-5 years) SQL queries and tuning SQL queries for performance.
- Previous (3-5 years) web software development with hands-on experience with J2EE and Web Services (SOAP, WSDL)
- Expertise in XML, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Strong Communication Skills (with both developers and end users)
- Strong skills required in critical thinking and analysis.
- Understanding of health care business and care delivery processes preferred.
